This is the online home of the De Anza Trail Caballeros, one of California's oldest and most famous trail riding organizations. For over 70 years, we have been bringing together an enthusiastic group of men and horses who celebrate the Golden State's old Spanish heritage by riding the historic De Anza Trail.

Notice: It is with deep sadness we note the recent passing of two caballeros. Sam Norton was a long-time caballero, valued member of our board of directors and a tireless trail boss. Bill Dejong was a long time caballero, who even after moving to Texas made the trip every year to ride with his friends. We will miss you both.
